Phase Ingredients for ~15 ml % Quantity
A murumuru butter 96 14,4 gr
A chamomile CO2 extract 0,6 4 drops
B lavender essential oil 2 10 drops
B peppermint essential oil 1 5 drops
B basil essential oil 0,4 2 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
Add the murumuru butter to a heat-resistant container and place in a water bath until it is melted, then remove from the heat.
In the same water bath (with the heat source off) the bottle of chamomile extract can be placed for a short time, to liquefy. 

Add the chamomile extract to the melted butter, mix and let the composition cool down to room temperature. To speed up the cooling process, the glass can be placed in a bowl with cold water.

After cooling, add the essential oils and mix well. The still fluid balm is poured into the dedicated container, which is then placed in the refrigerator, until the balm is completely hardened.

A balm that contains essential oils recognized for their analgesic action, reducing pain, tension and neurosis and relieving stress.

It is applied by massage of medium or higher intensity, depending on how comfortable it is, with circular and smoothing movements, on the key areas: temples, forehead, nape, cervical area, and in case of migraines including the area around the ears.

Options and explanations:

  • instead of murumuru butter, another vegetable butter can be used, such as shea butter; we used murumuru butter for its special texture that ensures a long massage without leaving a greasy feeling on the skin
  • cajeput or ravintsara essential oil can be used instead of basil essential oil - a larger amount, 5-7 drops

  • Recommended container: Laurence glass jar with lid or any other glass jar
  • Shelf-life: 6 months - prepared in optimal conditions of hygiene, kept in a cool place
