"Greeny" invigorating shower gel

Formula: FM52014

Phase Ingredients for ~250 ml % Quantity
A gentle washing base 35 87,5 gr
A Coco-glucoside and Glyceryl oleate 5 12,5 gr
A Decyl glucoside 10 25 gr
B flat mineral water 27,58 69 gr
B peppermint water 20 50 gr
B chlorophyll powder 0,02 0,05 gr (1/3 x DROP)
B xanthan gum 0,3 0,75 gr
C green mandarin essential oil 1 75 drops
C ravintsara essential oil 0,2 15 drops
C cedarwood virginia essential oil 0,3 22 drops
C cosgard preservative 0,6 50 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
Phase A: Transfer the gentle washing base and the Coco-glucoside and Glyceryl oleate to a glass and mix until it becomes a uniform and viscous composition. Add the Decyl glucoside and mix slowly, thoroughly.

Phase B: In another glass, mix the water with the chlorophyll *. Gradually sprinkle xanthan gum over the evenly colored solution and mix vigorously by hand. Leave to rest for about 10 minutes to form a light gel.
* chlorophyll dosage: for batches before no. 74120, a slightly larger amount than indicated in the recipe will be used

Phase B is gradually added over phase A and mixed slowly and thoroughly, avoiding excessive foaming.
Finally, add the phase C ingredients one at a time and mix slowly, thoroughly.

The resulting composition is transferred to the dedicated container. The formed foam will withdraw and the composition will be clarified the next day.

The result is a toning and invigorating shower gel with a fresh scent, suitable for women and men alike. 

Options and explanations:

  • rosemary or witch hazel water can be used instead of peppermint water
  • the floral water can be removed from the recipe, instead aloe vera gel can be used
  • instead of the essential oils proposed in the recipe, others can be used: peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, or others chosen according to preferences and properties


  • Difficulty: beginner/advanced/experienced
  • Utensils: precision scale, 2 Berzelius beakers, teaspoon/spatula
  • Recommended container: Globe bottle with pump dispenser or Cristal bottle with disc-top cap
  • Shelf-life: 3 months - prepared in optimal conditions of hygiene, kept in a cool place
