Hair styling and hair fixing gel

Formula: 5233

A	flat mineral water	120 gr
A	brown sugar	25 gr
B	xanthan gum	2 gr
C	honeyquat	3 gr
C	ylang-ylang essential oil	5 drops
C	bergamot essential oil	8 drops
C	vege-collagen	30 drops
C	cosgard preservative	20 drops
C	mica cosmetic pigment, color of your choice (optional)	a knife tip

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
In a stainless steel bowl or cup, mix the water well with the sugar and place on a heat source. After it starts to boil, keep on for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and place in a bowl of cold water to accelerate the cooling of the solution.

After the solution reaches body temperature, xanthan gum will be sprinkled and mixed vigorously. Let the composition rest for about 10 minutes to form the gel.

Add the phase C ingredients one at a time, mixing after each. The resulting gel is transferred to the dedicated container.

The result is a pleasantly fragrant gel, with a fixing, moisturizing and conditioning effect. Apply a moderate amount, before styling, on damp hair and distribute evenly. It can also be applied after styling, on strands.

Options and explanations:

if brown sugar is used, the resulting gel will be yellowish in color, and if prepared with white sugar then it will be colorless, before the pigment is added
the pigment, regardless of the shade used, will not color the hair, possibly giving light reflections if a larger amount is included; can be removed from the recipe
instead of the essential oils proposed in the recipe you can choose other essential oils, fragrance oils or aromatic extracts, chosen according to your taste preferences
the gel can be prepared without fragrance, remove the essential oils from the recipe, without the need to adjust the amount of other ingredients
cosgard preservative cannot be replaced with grapefruit seed extract
