Biphasic makeup remover, normal/dry skin

Formula: 4174

Phase Ingredients for ~ 50 ml % Quantity
A neroli water 69,4 35 ml (35 gr)
A grapefruit seed extract 0.6 10 drops
B monoi de tahiti oil 30 15 ml (14 gr)

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
Add the water and the preservative to the dedicated container, shake well, then add the oil and stir for a few seconds. Prior to preparation, the flower water and oil should be kept at room temperature as monoi oil is solid below 22°C.

The result is a biphasic composition, which means that the oily part separates from the aqueous part, the oil rises to the surface. Shake the bottle vigorously before application. If the product is kept below 22°C then the monoi oil will solidify in the vial. Keep the product in a warmer environment or use another vegetable oil instead of monoi oil (macadamia, apricot, camellia)

The cleanser is suitable for dry and normal skin and can be applied even in the eye area. It is a simple formula that can be adapted for other skin types. It can be enriched according to preferences with other ingredients: glycerin, sodium PCA, glycerin extracts, vege-collagen, following the dosages indicated in the product sheets.

  • for mixed/oily skin you can use rosemary water combined with macadamia, kukui, rice, jojoba or watermelon oil

  • monoi oil can be replaced with virtually any vegetable oil chosen depending on the type of skin and the desired properties
  • Dermosoft complex can be used instead of grapefruit seed extract, in a percentage of 4% by adjusting the percentage of floral water accordingly, and in which case the pH of the make-up remover must have a value of 5-5.5
