Add the peppermint water and the glycerin to a bowl and mix. Sprinkle with xanthan gum, mix well and let the composition rest for about 10 minutes until a light gel is formed.
In another bowl, slowly and thoroughly mix the ingredients of phase B.
Add the ingredients of phase C to the gel formed from phase A and mix well; a homogeneous composition will not form at this stage but it is fine.
The composition of phases A + C is poured over phase B and mixed slowly, thoroughly, until a paste as uniform as possible is obtained.
Add the licorice extract and mix well until smooth.
If the paste is slightly softer or harder than desired, it can be adjusted with a little calcium carbonate or glycerin as appropriate.
The paste thus obtained is transferred to the dedicated container and sealed.
Note: the color of the paste will darken (greenish gray) a few days after preparation, it is a normal process that does not affect its qualities.
The toothpaste thus prepared has a complex formula that contributes to the strengthening of the gums, helps to eliminate dental plaque, has an antibacterial, purifying and anti-caries effect. It foams moderately, has a pleasant taste, gives a fresh breath.
