Tooth powder with propolis

Formula: 1868

Phase Ingredients for ~60 ml Quantity
A calcium carbonate 3 tablespoons (12 gr)
A propolis powder 2 teaspoons (3 gr)
A xylitol 2 teaspoons (3,5 gr)
A sodium bicarbonate 23 teaspoons (2,4 gr)
B peppermint essential oil 10 drops
B tea tree essential oil 5 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
In a bowl, mix the powders from phase A, slowly and well.
Over the powders add the essential oils and mix slowly, thoroughly, possibly with a pestle.
The obtained composition is transferred to a ~ 60 ml glass jar.

Use:
Moisten the toothbrush and immerse it in the jar with powder. Brush your teeth as usual. During brushing, you can take more powder on the brush, if necessary. It does not foam, but the teeth will be clean, the gums well cared for and the breath fresh. 
The dental hygiene powder can be used daily instead of toothpaste.

An antibacterial oral hygiene powder, for clean teeth and healthy gums, with a fresh and slightly medicinal aroma.
For a simpler version of toothpaste, even suitable for children, or that does not contain foaming agent, access the other recipes in this section.

A larger quantity can be prepared, and it can be divided into several jars, one for each member of the family.
Those who do not like the aroma of tea tree essential oil, can use red mandarin or lemon essential oil, or other strong antibacterial essential oils, 1-3 drops of clove leaf or cinnamon essential oil.
