Gel deodorant with alum

Phase Ingredients for ~50 ml % Quantity
A flat mineral water 90 45 gr
A guar gum 1 0,5 gr
B alum powder 3 1,5 gr
C Triethyl citrate 4 2 gr
C natural cosmetic fragrance oil Rouge Amère 0,7 11 drops
C grapefruit essential oil 0,7 11 drops
C cosgard 0,6 10 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
Add the flat water to a glass/bowl, sprinkle with guar gum and mix vigorously until the gum is completely dispersed. The composition is left to rest for about 10 minutes to form a gel, then mix again for homogenization.

Add the powdered alum stone and mix well. Let the composition rest for 1-2 minutes for complete dissolution of the alum, then mix.
Phase C ingredients are added one at a time, with thorough mixing after each. The gel thus prepared is transferred to the dedicated container. pH: 4-4,5

The result is a deodorant that fights the appearance of an unpleasant smell of perspiration caused by bacterial proliferation. Pleasant scent, with fruity notes.

Options:
Instead of the essential oil and the fragrance oil from the recipe, other essences can be used according to preferences; essential oils with antibacterial action add to the efficiency of the deodorant.
