"Moroccan gold" body butter

Phase Ingredients for ~100 ml Quantity
A kokum butter 60 gr
B opuntia oil 17 gr
B argan oil 10 gr
C vege-silicone, volatile 10 gr
C natural cosmetic fragrance oil Amber 65 drops
C natural cosmetic fragrance oil Roses 15 drops
C optional: golden 49 or bronze 70 mica, cosmetic pigment 1-2 knife tips

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
Add the kokum butter to a heat-resistant glass and place in a water bath until melted. Remove from the heat, pour into a bowl and add the oils from phase B. Place the bowl in the freezer for a few minutes, until the composition hardens.

Remove from the freezer, mix vigorously, preferably with a mini whisk, to obtain a texture as soft and fluffy as possible. Add the ingredients of phase C and mix well. The more it is mixed, the more aerated and creamy the body butter will be, pleasant in appearance and to apply.

The body butter thus obtained is transferred to the dedicated container.

A rich, nourishing, anti-aging and emollient cream with an oriental-floral scent. Apply a moderate amount on clean skin, it is melted on contact with the skin and it can be easily distributed. Leaves skin smooth, velvety and pleasantly scented. Although it contains only oily ingredients, it does not leave a very greasy feeling on the skin.


  • instead of the oil from phase B, others can be used, according to preferences and their properties
  • instead of the fragrances recommended in the recipe, other fragrances or essential oils can be used, according to preferences
  • the pigment is an optional ingredient, it can be omitted, in which case the cream will have an ivory color
