Purifying cleanser gel

Phase Ingredients for ~100 ml % Quantity
A rosemary water 30 30 gr
A flat mineral water 37,3 37,3 gr
A xanthan gum 1 1 gr
B decyl glucoside 20 20 gr
B Coco-glucoside and Glyceryl oleate 5 5 gr
C AHA fruit acids 3 3 gr
C orange essential oil 0,8 27 drops
C ravensara aromatica essential oil 0,3 10 drops
C olive exfoliator 2 2 gr
C cosgard 0,6 20 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:

In a glass/bowl, prepare phase A: mix the waters, sprinkle xanthan gum over them and mix vigorously until they disperse completely. The solution is left to rest for a few minutes until the gel forms.

In another glass/bowl, mix the phase B surfactants. Over the phase B, add the obtained gel and mix slowly, thoroughly. Avoid foaming.

Over the combination of phases A and B, the ingredients of phase C are added one by one, with slow and thorough mixing after each one. The cleanser thus obtained is transferred to the dedicated container.

A gel suitable for cleansing normal, mixed or slightly oily skin, which contains ingredients for sanitizing and purifying the skin, fruit acids and exfoliating particles.  Take a small amount and spread it in your palms, then massage on moistened skin with fine circular motions. Rinse well with lukewarm water.

Options and explanations:

  • instead of rosemary water, you can use another floral water chosen according to its properties
  • instead of xanthan gum we do not recommend guar gum in this formula
  • fragard or concentrated grapefruit seed extract may not be used instead of cosgard
  • another suitable combination of essential oils for this cleanser would be for example: clary sage 0.5% + niaouli (or cajeput) 0.2%
