Mango & Babassu body butter

Formula: KT1239

Phase	Ingredients	Quantity for 50 ml
A	mango butter	32 gr (34 ml)
A	babassu oil	12 gr (13 ml)
B	glycerin, vegetable	2 gr (1,7 ml)
B	ylang-ylang essential oil	30 drops
B	vitamin E	5 drops

Preparation method:

Melt the mango butter in a water bath. Remove from heat and pour into a bowl. Add the babassu oil and mix well. Place the bowl in the refrigerator or freezer until the composition hardens.
The composition will be mixed vigorously, preferably with a mini whisk, to obtain a homogeneous and slightly aerated texture. Now add the ingredients from phase B, mixing after each. The more it is mixed, the fluffier and creamier the body butter will be, pleasant in appearance and to apply.
The body butter thus obtained is transferred to the dedicated container.

A body butter with a simple and easy to prepare formula, with emollient, nourishing and moisturizing action, which leaves the skin velvety and fragrant with sweet, floral and exotic notes - a real treat for the skin and senses.

The consistency is slightly softer than in most body butters. Apply a moderate amount on freshly sanitized and preferably slightly damp skin to promote absorption.

Options:

monoi or coconut oil can be used instead of babassu oil
instead of mango butter you can use another vegetable butter with similar texture and hardness
vegetable glycerin cannot be substituted with glycerinic extracts
instead of the essential oil proposed in the recipe, another essential or natural cosmetic fragrance oil can be used, according to preferences; the dosage may differ, you can use less or a little more depending on the intensity of the smell
