Anti-pigmentation gel

Formula: KA7235

Phase Ingredients % Quantity for ~100 ml
A flat water 57,2 57,2 gr
A witch hazel water 40 40 gr
A kojic acid 1 1 gr
A vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 0,5 0,5 gr
A natural chelator 0,3 0,3 gr
A xanthan gum 0,3 0,3 gr
A cosgard 0,6 10 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:

In a bowl or glass mix the water with the witch hazel water, add the kojic acid and mix well. Add the vitamin C powder and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. We suggest working with the mini mixer, otherwise it takes longer to dissolve the powdered ingredients.
Add the chelator over the resulting solution, gradually sprinkle xanthan gum, while mixing vigorously until it is completely dispersed.
The composition is left to rest until the gel is formed, approximately 10 minutes. At the end, add the cosgard preservative, mix for approximately 1 minute, then transfer the resulting gel to the dedicated container. pH: ~ 3.5

A fluid solution, which is easy to apply and distribute on the skin, and with a slightly medicinal smell. It can be applied on the face or body and hands after cleansing the skin, once a day, to alleviate sun spots, age spots or post-inflammatory spots (acne).
The formula aims to even out skin color, but also to invigorate dull skin. It can be applied on the face instead of a toner, after cleansing the skin, and in approximately 10 minutes it can be followed by a moisturizer.
If the care routine also involves chemical exfoliation (with AHA/BHA), then this gel is applied after exfoliation. This product is recommended to be used as a treatment, for a period of 1-2 months, after which there is a break of 1-2 months. While using this composition it is necessary to photoprotect the skin during the day.

Options and explanations:

  • the formula contains a fairly high percentage of kojic acid, so the product will be used as a treatment; the percentage of kojic acid can be reduced to approximately 0.5% in which case it can be used for a longer period of time
  • we recommend preparing a quantity of gel appropriate to the size of the area to be applied because the shelf life is relatively short. If applied only to the face or hands, it is enough to prepare 30 ml. The product does not expire within this 4-week period, but its effectiveness decreases relatively quickly.
  • Difficulty: beginner/advanced/experienced
  • Utensils: precision scale, mini mixer, bowl/glass
  • Recommended container: Bea bottle or another opaque bottle that is suitable for gels/fluid lotions
  • Shelf life: 4 weeks, kept in a cool and dry place, protected from sunlight
