Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
In a Berzelius beaker add the ingredients of phase A. The beaker is placed in a water bath, stirring the composition from time to time. When the wax has melted, the glass is removed from the water bath. To speed up the cooling process, place the beaker in a bowl of cold water for a few minutes.

After the composition of phase A reaches body temperature, the ingredients of phase B are added one by one, with thorough mixing after each one. Place the glass in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes after which the composition is mixed well again and then transferred to the dedicated container.

The result is a delicate, emollient oil with a non-greasy texture, which gives the skin a satiny and bright appearance. It can be applied on the face and body alike. Leaves skin hydrated, fragrant and with a festive look. Shake the container before application.

Options and explanations:

  • instead of hazelnut oil you can use another vegetable oil, for example: rice bran, jojoba, caprilis, apricot kernel or macadamia oil
  • instead of the proposed fragrance oil, another fragrance oil, essential oil or combination of perfumes can be used, depending on your preferences
  • the composition can be prepared without fragrance, increasing the percentage of hazelnut oil accordingly
  • depending on the desired color, gold 49 mica, bronze 70 mica and brown 89 mica may also be considered
  • the emulsifying olive wax helps to obtain a suitable texture, but it is also chosen for its ability to keep pigments in suspension; we do not recommend replacing it with another type of wax

  • Difficulty: beginner/advanced/experienced
  • Utensils: precision scale, Berzelius beaker, teaspoons
  • Recommended container: Boston bottle with lotion pump
  • Shelf-life: 6 months, kept in a cool place
