Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
Add the ingredients of phase A to a Berzelius beaker. The glass is placed in a water bath, stirring the composition from time to time. When the wax has melted, the glass is removed from the water bath. To speed up the cooling process, place the beaker in a bowl of cold water for a few minutes.

After the composition of phase A reaches body temperature, the ingredients of phase B are added one by one, with thorough mixing after each one. Place the glass in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes, then mix the composition well again, and transfer it to the dedicated container.

The result is a delicate, emollient oil that gives the skin a tanned and satiny look. It can be applied on the face and body alike. Leaves skin hydrated, fragrant, with a pleasant color and festive look. This product does not color the skin permanently, the color is removed at the first wash. Shake the bottle before application.

Options and explanations:

  • instead of hazelnut oil you can use another vegetable oil, for example: kukui, rice bran, macadamia, apricot kernel, jojoba or a combination of vegetable oils
  • instead of the proposed fragrance oil, another fragrance oil, essential oil or combination of perfumes can be used, depending on your preferences.
  • the composition can be prepared without fragrance, increasing the percentage of hazelnut oil accordingly
  • for lighter skin, the amount of bronze 70 mica pigment can be reduced by half or you can use beige 87 mica pigment
  • tip: gradually add the pigments, mix the composition and test the shade on the skin, so you can get the desired effect
  • depending on the desired color, gold 49 mica and brown 89 mica pigments can also be considered
  • magnesium stearate has a velvety effect on the skin, a "dry" feeling, and helps to increase the viscosity of the oil so that the pigments stay in suspension. If removed from the recipe, the percentage of emulsifying olive wax should be increased to 7% and the percentage of hazelnut oil to 61%.
  • the emulsifying olive wax helps to obtain a suitable texture, but is also chosen for its ability to keep pigments in suspension; we do not recommend replacing it with another type of wax

  • Difficulty: beginner/advanced/experienced
  • Utensils: precision scale, a Berzelius beaker, teaspoons
  • Recommended container: Cristal bottle with lotion pump
  • Shelf-life: 6 months, kept in a cool place
