Formula: AP8104 - version A (with Emulsifier Liqua)

A avocado oil 10 15 gr
A babassu oil 8 12 gr
A emulsifier Liqua 3 4,5 gr
A co-emlulsifier Glycemul 2 3 gr
B flat mineral water 71,3 107 gr
B glycerin 4 6 gr
C xanthan gum 0,1 0,15 gr
D natural cosmetic fragrance oil Fruit de Juin 1 1,5 gr
D fragard preservative 0,6 0,9 gr

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
Phase A ingredients are added to a heat-resistant glass. Phase B ingredients are added to another heat-resistant glass.
Both glasses are placed in a water bath. When both phases have reached 75°C, remove from the water bath.
Pour phase B over phase A and mix (for 1 minute with the new mixer, for 3 minutes with the old mixer).
Sprinkle xanthan gum over the composition and mix for a few seconds. Place the glass in a bowl of cold water to accelerate cooling process, and continue to mix (for 1 minute with the new mixer, for 3 minutes with the old mixer).
Then add the ingredients of phase D and mix thoroughly.
The resulting emulsion is transferred to the dedicated container. Its consistency will be finalized the next day. pH: 6-6,5

The result is a soft emulsion, pleasant to apply, with a fruity-floral scent. It has a moisturizing, regenerating, nourishing effect. It can be easily spread on the skin, absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy film.

Options:

  • instead of avocado oil, another vegetable oil can be used, chosen according to preferences and its properties
  • monoi or coconut oil can be used instead of babassu oil
  • cucumber extract or mallow extract can be used instead of glycerin for extra hydration and softening of the skin
  • instead of the fragrance recommended in the recipe you can work with another fragrance or essential oil, according to your preferences
  • instead of fragard, cosgard can be used for preservation (same amount)

C natural cosmetic fragrance oil Fruit de Juin 1 48 drops
C fragard preservative 0,6 30 drops

Preparation method:
Phase A ingredients are added to a heat-resistant glass. Phase B ingredients are added to another heat-resistant glass.
Both glasses are placed in a water bath, stirring occasionally.

When both phases have reached 75°C, remove from the water bath. Pour phase A slowly over phase B, while mixing and continue to mix for 3 minutes.
Place the glass in a bowl of cold water to accelerate the cooling process, continuing to mix for 3 more minutes.

When the composition has reached body temperature, the ingredients of phase C are added one by one, thoroughly mixing after each one. 
The composition is left to rest for approximately 10 minutes, then mix again for about 2 minutes.

The resulting emulsion is transferred to the dedicated container. Its consistency will be finalized the next day. pH: 6-6,5
