Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.
Preparation method:
Prepare the container first: after sanitizing and drying, grease the intermediary cap with a little vanilla oil and attach it to the body of the container. Then add the lid but do not close it as tightly as possible, to facilitate the opening.
The ingredients of phase A are added to a heat-resistant glass and melted in a water bath.
Mix the phase B ingredients and add this mixture over the phase A composition. Leave it in the water bath until it liquefies and the composition becomes uniform, stirring continuously.
Remove the beaker from the water bath, add the phase C ingredients one at a time and mix very well.
When the composition begins to thicken slightly, pour into the container.
Pouring into the container:
The prepared container is positioned upside down, and the still fluid composition is poured through the hole in the base. Leave the container in this position for at least 4 hours, preferably until the next day.
Fix the corresponding small cap over the wheel at the base. Before removing the lid for the first time, place the deodorant in the freezer for a few minutes.
Remove from the freezer, carefully remove the lid and then remove the intermediary lid - which should not be used until the next pour into the container.
Tip: if the top of the deodorant stick breaks when the cap is removed, it can be attached back with a slight pressure and can eventually be pressed together with your fingers (with gloves).
The result is a deodorant with 4 natural deodorizing and antibacterial active ingredients: zinc ricinoleate, Triethyl citrate, alum powder and palmarosa essential oil. It is pleasant to apply, leaves no unaesthetic white marks, has a pleasant floral scent.
