Guar gum

Displays excellent viscosity building properties in aqueous formulations, suited for use in the preparation of diverse personal care formulations as a thickener and stabilizer.

• foam booster and stabilizer for common surfactant systems
• prevents most solid particles from settling in finished products
• good stability in a wide range of pH: 3-10
• high temperature resistant

Applications, usage

• gels, serums, creams, lotions, deodorants, toothpaste, shampoos, body washes, conditioners, styling products
• is water soluble and non-ionic
• sprinkle in room temperature water phase, mix well and leave to sit for about 15 minutes
• hydrates in water and the resulting solution is colorless but not transparent
• recommended dosage 1-5%
