Bacti-pur Complex - description

An antimicrobial blend produced by supercritical fluid extraction, this unique profile blend contains Curcuma, Licorice, Hop, Sage, Clove, Oregano and Ajowan extracts and it is an effective antioxidant and antimicrobial agent.

This is a blend of CO2 extracts free of any solvent or heavy metal residues.

The product is mixed from the following extracts:
30 % Sage Antioxidant extract, standardised with 10 % sunflower oil (organic)
20 % Hop CO2-to extract, standardised with 35 % sunflower oil (organic)
15 % Curcuma Xanthorrhiza CO2-se extract
15 % Licorice root CO2-to extract, standardised with 50 % sunflower oil (organic)
10 % Clove Bud CO2-se extract
5 % Oregano CO2-se extract
5 % Ajowain CO2-se extract

Contains essential oil with 32 - 38 % curcumenes, eugenol, thymol, carvacrol, thymoquinone. Furthermore the product contains 8 - 12 % humulones and lupulones (alpha and beta acids), 2,5 - 6,5 % phenolic diterpenes (carnosol and carnosic acid), isoflavones.

Applications, usage

• recommended use levels: 0,1 - 0,3%
• antioxidant and antimicrobial agent for cosmetic formulations and treatments
• as ingredient in serums, creams, emulsions, balms, oleogels, scrubs, deodorants, foot creams, cleansing products, oral care, oil based formulations
