Standardized organic carrot CO2 extract in jojoba oil with high provitamin A content, for skin care preparations and sun protection formulations.

Method of extraction: extracted by supercritical fluid extraction with natural carbon dioxide, no solvent residues, no inorganic salts, no heavy metals, no reproducible microorganisms.

Appearance: red liquid oil
Odor: light sweet carrot smell

Contains: 0,15-0,21% total carotenes calculated as beta-carotene corresponding to 2500 - 3500 i.U. provitamin A, alpha, beta-, gamma-, delta-, epsilon-carotene in natural isomerical distribution, lycopine, lipophilic flavones

Applications, usage

• recommended use levels in cosmetics: 0,5% - 4%
• added at the oil or cool-down phase of emulsions
• soluble in oils
• as ingredient in creams, serums, balms, sun care oils and emulsions
• coloring agent in cosmetic formulations for creams and oils
