Conditioner spray with fruit acids

A flat mineral water 70,6 70,6 gr
A lavender water 20 20 gr
A lactic acid 0,8 0,8 gr
A AHA fruit acids 3 3 gr
A emulsifier Condisoft 3 3 gr
B silk protein 2 2 gr
B cosgard 0,6 20 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
In a heat-resistant glass, add the fluid ingredients of phase A one by one, mix and then add the emulsifier. Place the glass in a water bath and heat the composition until the emulsifier is completely melted. Stir during heating. You will notice a little foam on top, it is normal and the foam will disperse in a short time.

Remove from the heat and allow the composition to cool to room temperature. Stir occasionally.
Add the phase B silk protein and mix. The protein appears to clump at the base of the container, but after thorough mixing it will completely dissolve. Now add the preservative and mix well; small lumps can be observed, which will disperse in a short time. The solution thus obtained is transferred to the dedicated container. pH: ~4.5

A few hours after preparation the solution will become cloudy, it is okay, shake the bottle before use. 

The result is a liquid conditioner that helps to untangle the hair, facilitates styling and gives shine to the hair. Apply on damp hair after washing. Do not rinse your hair. It can also be applied on dry hair, if necessary, but not daily, to avoid loading the hair.
Shake the bottle before use!

Options and explanations:

  • linden or chamomile water can be used instead of lavender water, but their pH is usually higher, so it may be necessary to adjust the pH of the composition with a little lactic acid
  • floral water can practically be removed from the recipe by supplementing the amount of flat water, it is important to check the pH level at the end
  • it is advisable to measure the pH of the composition at the end, and if it is higher than 4.5 then lactic acid is needed - it will be added little by little, measuring the pH after mixing and continuing the procedure until the pH reaches a value between 4-4.5
  • we do not recommend replacing the preservative for this recipe
