Exfoliating soap with annatto and citrus

Formula: 815124

Phase Ingredients for a 130 gr mold % Quantity
A melt & pour soap base, clear 92.7 121 gr
B annatto powder 0.3 0.4 gr
B olive exfoliator 3.5 4,6 gr
B orange essential oil 2 2,6 gr
B grapefruit essential oil 1.5 2 gr

Clean the worktop, mold and all utensils you work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Place the diced soap base (cut as small as possible, about 1 cm) in a heat-resistant container (Berzelius beaker or a stainless steel cup), and melt in a water bath.

After melting, add the rest of the ingredients, one by one, as fast as possible, mixing after each one.

Remove the container from the water bath and stir continuously until the soap begins to thicken. Now pour it into the soap mold quickly. If it is poured when it is very fluid, the exfoliator will settle to the base of the form.

Leave the soap mold on a flat surface. After approximately 4 hours the soap is removed from the mold and left to dry until the next day, in an environment as dry as possible. After 24 hours, the soap can be used.

Important:
If the environment in which the soap is stored has medium or high humidity, "dew" may appear on its surface and a gelatinous layer may form. This is a natural phenomenon that occurs in all melt & pour type natural soaps.
To avoid this phenomenon, it is advisable to wrap the soap in a foil or store it in a hermetically sealed container.
When preparing a recipe, after removing the soap from the form/mold, it is stored in a dry place, but if it will not be used in soon, it will be wrapped in plastic foil.

An exfoliating soap with a fresh smell of oranges and grapefruit, with a pleasant amber color, it is translucent and decorative.
