Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
In a bowl or beaker, add the ingredients from phase A one at a time, stirring slowly and thoroughly after each addition.

In a heat-resistant glass, add and mix the ingredients from phase B, place in a water bath until the emulsifier is completely melted, meanwhile stirring. After melting, remove from the water bath.

Phase B is poured little by little over phase A. Mix slowly, thoroughly, avoiding excessive foaming. The composition is left to cool.

In the uniform composition, cooled to body temperature, the ingredients of phase C are incorporated one at a time, mixing after each one.
The resulting shampoo is transferred to the dedicated container. The shampoo will clear up the next day. pH: ~5,5

It is a shampoo suitable for any hair type, except very greasy or thick hair. Gives volume, shine and hydration, makes it easier to untangle and style hair. At the first shampooing it will not foam intensely, especially if the hair is dirty or the scalp is greasy. The second shampooing is recommended to be performed for 1-2 minutes or even a little longer, after which rinse thoroughly. Generally, it is not necessary to apply a conditioner because the shampoo also contains a conditioning agent.

Options:

  • flat water can be partially or completely replaced with floral water, for example neroli water for dry hair or rosemary water for greasy hair
  • aloe vera gel can also be included in the formula, 15-20%, replacing some of the flat water
  • instead of the proposed essential oils, others can be used, chosen according to their properties and preferences; those recommended in the recipe, although in a small percentage, provide a fairly intense scent; if other essential oils are used then a larger addition may be necessary, approximately 1%
