Nourishing night cream, mature skin

A mango butter 23 6,9 gr
B vegetable glycerin 3,3 1 gr
B borage oil 14,7 4,4 gr
B centella asiatica oil 20 6 gr
B sea buckthorn oil 5 1,5 gr
B (optional) rhododendron essential oil 0,5 5 drops
B vitamin E 0,5 4 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
In a heat-resistant container, melt the phase A butters in a water bath. 
Remove the container from the water bath and place in the freezer to harden slightly.
Add the glycerin and the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Place back in the freezer for a few minutes to harden.
Mix well and transfer to the dedicated container.

We obtain a nourishing cream, rich in substances with regenerating, revitalizing and anti-aging action. Increases skin elasticity, is emollient and helps maintain skin hydration. The cream is suitable for dry or normal, mature skin.

Apply a small amount on the skin in the evening, massage lightly and leave on overnight. For added comfort, the unabsorbed cream layer can be removed from the skin, 15 minutes after application, by dabbing with a paper towel.

Options:

  • centella oil can be replaced with opuntia or camellia oil; instead of borago oil you can use evening primrose, argan or saffron oil
  • sea buckthorn oil can be replaced with blackcurrant or raspberry oil for example
  • the essential oil can be neglected in the recipe if you do not want to perfume the cream, or can be replaced with another essential oil according to your preferences and skin type
  • the cream can also be enriched with ceramides (in which case phase A will be heated to at least 80°C)
  • a portion of borago or centella oil can be replaced with a fat-soluble active, for example: acmella extract, coenzyme Q10, marigold extract, schisandra extract (follow the dosages indicated in each product sheet)
