A recipe based on a mixture of essential oils effective in combating ants, aphids, caterpillars, fleas, beetles and spiders.
Liquid Castile soap base, neutral | 5 gr (1,5 teaspoons) |
Peppermint essential oil | 20 drops |
Cedarwood Atlas essential oil | 10 drops |
Rosemary essential oil | 10 drops |
Lukewarm water | 250 ml |
Add the soap base and essential oils to a glass and mix well. Add the water, mix thoroughly, then transfer the liquid thus obtained to the dedicated bottle.
Recommended container: 250 ml Optima or Cristal bottle with trigger pump
It is applied by spraying, abundantly, both on the front, back and petiole of the leaves, and on the ground.
It is recommended to repeat the treatment once every 7-10 days to keep pests at bay.
Due to the minimum amount of soap used to incorporate essential oils into the water, the formula is biphasic and separates over time. The bottle should be shaken well before application.
The solution is recommended to be used immediately after preparation. In case of a surplus left after use, the solution can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days.
