Preparation method:
Place the ingredients of phases A and B in two separate heat-resistant containers and heat in a water bath to 75°C.
Pour phase B over phase A, in a single motion and mix (with the old mixer 3 minutes, with new mixer 1 minute).
Sprinkle xanthan gum over the composition and mix well.
Place the glass in a bowl with cold water and mix (with the old mixer for 3 minutes, with the new mixer for 1 minute).
After cooling to about 40°C, add the ingredients of phase D and stir thoroughly by hand. At the end, mix the composition for a few more seconds.
After complete cooling, transfer the composition to the dedicated container.
The result is a cream foundation, ideal for normal or mixed skin. It has a pleasant texture, medium coverage, light neutral shade, light on the skin.
To obtain a darker shade, a little of each hydrophilic pigment can be added at the end; to obtain a warmer tone, the dosage of the yellow pigment is slightly increased, and for a colder tone, the dosage of the red pigment is slightly increased. A pearly shine can be obtained by adding a bronze, gold or coral mica pigment.
