Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.
In a heat-resistant beaker add the ingredients of phase A. In another heat-resistant beaker add and mix the ingredients of phase B, one at a time.
The glasses are placed in a water bath, both phases are heated to a temperature of 80°C then removed from the heat.
Mix phase B for 20-30 seconds, then slowly pour phase A over phase B while stirring, and continue to mix for 3 minutes.
Place the glass in a bowl with cold water to accelerate the cooling process, and continue to mix for 3 more minutes.
Sprinkle the xanthan gum over the formed emulsion while mixing. Continue to mix the composition for one more minute and leave it to rest for about 10 minutes.
After letting it rest, add the ingredients of phase D, one by one, mixing thoroughly after each one.
The lotion thus obtained is transferred to the dedicated container. The texture will be finalized the next day. pH: ~ 6
The result is a creamy lotion suitable for normal, mixed and oily skin, with ingredients that act to restore the optimal level of skin hydration and restore the natural barrier, for a more supple, elastic skin, with improved appearance and feeling of comfort. It can be applied all over the face, including around the eyes and neck; it is quickly absorbed into the skin.
Instead of cucumber extract, you can work with other extracts, depending on your preferences and skin needs.
