Preparation method:

Powder preparation
Transfer the powdered ingredients (phase A) to a mortar and mix with a pestle for a few minutes until the pigments disperse evenly. The operation requires a little patience.

Add the ingredients of phase B over the composition and mix very well until a homogeneous powder is obtained. Some of the powder will stick lightly to the wall of the mortar and even on the pestle, it is necessary to remove it with a teaspoon to reach the base of the mortar, then mix again.

Transfer to the compartment
Transfer the prepared powder to the metal compartment, distributing it as evenly as possible. Meanwhile, lightly tap with the back of a teaspoon, push the powder to the edges as well, then continue filling the compartment until all the powder is used.

A small part of the powder will inevitably reach the outside of the compartment, there is no problem, it is important that the entire prepared portion is transferred to the compartment. It will exceed its capacity, but after compaction the powder will reach the optimal level.

The silicone compactor plate is placed over the metal compartment filled with powder. Press the plate firmly with your palm, meanwhile hold it with the other hand - it is important that it does not move from the compartment. Press the plate vigorously a few times, in the middle and on the edges, to compact the powder as evenly as possible. Lift the plate and remove any traces of powder from the edge of the compartment with a brush or a piece of napkin.

Placing in the box
The compartment with compacted powder will be attached to the box with the help of the double-sided tape. After finishing the blush, the metal compartment can be easily detached from the box with the help of a knife, for example, after which it can be reused.

Options and explanations:

  • the quantity of powder can be adjusted proportionally, depending on the volume of the metal compartment from the compact powder box used
  • if you are not sure that the color given from the recipe suits you, first add a smaller amount of pigments, mix well, then adjust the color according to your preferences; other pigments can be used to obtain other shades
  • instead of the rose absolute you can use a fragrance oil or essential oil, chosen according to your preferences; if an unscented blush is desired then it can be removed from the recipe, supplementing with 3 drops the amount of jojoba oil
  • although it is practically possible, we do not recommend replacing jojoba oil with another vegetable oil because compaction is also influenced by the texture of this ingredient
