Coconut & vanilla lip gloss

Phase Ingredients for ~7,5 ml % Quantity
A lipgloss base 65 5,5 gr
A vanilla oil 27 2,3 gr
A beige 87 mica, cosmetic pigment 3 0,25 gr (3 x DASH spoon)
A brown 89 mica, cosmetic pigment 1,6 0,14 gr (1 x PINCH spoon)
A aromatic coconut extract 2,4 8 drops
A bisabolol 1 2 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
In a small bowl add the gloss base and the vanilla oil. Mix until a homogeneous composition is obtained. Then add the rest of the ingredients one at a time, mixing after each one.

The gloss thus prepared is transferred to the dedicated container. To make it easier to pour, the composition is placed in a bowl with warm water, to be be slightly fluidized; mix well before pouring. The container will not be completely filled because space is needed for the applicator.

An aromatic, emollient and gleaming long lasting lip gloss. The resulting gloss is bright with a cool tone, because of the 87 beige pigment that contains silver microparticles. Bisabolol provides a calming and repairing effect.

Options and explanations:

  • instead of vanilla oil you can use hazelnut, sesame, macadamia, almond or apricot kernel oil
  • instead of the pigments recommended in the recipe, other pigments selected according to preferences can be used; we recommend adding them at the end, progressively, testing the effect on the skin
  • for a warm tone gloss, instead of the beige 87 pigment, the gold 49 pigment can be used
  • instead of the aromatic coconut extract, another extract can be used, for example melon or pineapple

  • Shelf-life: 6 months, prepared in optimal conditions of hygiene, kept in a cool place
