Gel for heavy legs

Gel for heavy legs

Formula: JA2833

Phase Ingredients for ~100 ml % Quantity
A flat mineral water 51,37 51,4 gr
A helichrysum water 30 30 gr
A red wine extract 10 10 gr
A Dermosoft complex 4 4 gr
A chlorophyll powder (optional, for color) 0,03 0,03 gr (a pinch)
B xanthan gum 1,6 1,6 gr
C cypress essential oil 1 30 drops
C peppermint essential oil 1 30 drops
C eucalyptus lemon essential oil 0,5 15 drops
C lactic acid 0,5 13 drops

Sanitize the dedicated containers and utensils you will work with, details in the general safety guidelines.

Preparation method:
Add the phase A ingredients to a glass or bowl, one at a time, and mix after each one.

The xanthan gum is sprinkled over the solution, stirring vigorously, until the gum is completely dispersed. The composition is left to rest for about 10 minutes to form the gel.

The phase C ingredients are added one by one, mixing thoroughly after each. The gel thus obtained is transferred to the dedicated container. pH: ~5-5,5

The result is an active gel, with a pleasant fresh scent, formulated with ingredients that act synergistically to relieve the feeling of heavy legs. It is circulatory, draining, venotonic and invigorating.

It can be used daily, once or twice (morning and evening). Apply a moderate amount on clean skin and massage until absorbed. The gel is not indicated during pregnancy, due to the peppermint end cypress essential oils. In the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, the prepared gel can be used by excluding these essential oils from the recipe, and possibly replacing flat water with peppermint water.

Options:

  • chlorophyll acts as a dye and is an optional ingredient; without it the gel is brown
  • instead of Dermosoft, cosgard can be used as preservative, in a percentage of 0.6%, adjusting the percentage of flat water accordingly; in this case no lactic acid will be needed
